The 7th African Conference of Agricultural Economists & 60th Annual AEASA Conference, set to take place in September 2023 in Durban, South Africa, will focus on the theme “Through Crisis: Building Resilient Agri-food Systems in Africa”. The conference aims to bring together experts and practitioners in the field of agricultural economics, policymakers, and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges faced by the agricultural sector in Africa and explore ways to build resilience and promote sustainable agri-food systems on the continent. The conference will cover various topics, including food security, climate change, rural development, trade, and agri-business. The conference will also provide a platform for participants to network and collaborate on projects and initiatives to promote sustainable agri-food systems in Africa and will be held from 18 – 21 September 2023 in Durban, South Africa, an ideal location to showcase the country’s agricultural and agri-food systems.
