The 19th JKUAT Scientific, Technological and Industrialization Conference

On 20th – 21st March 2025, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is organizing the 19th JKUAT Scientific, Technological and Industrialization Conference with the theme “Promoting Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development”.

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) has been organizing and hosting international conferences since 2005 under the broad theme of scientific, technological and industrialization. The conferences act as a platform to bring together researchers, industrialists, policymakers and funding organs so as to achieve the synergy necessary for industrial development. The conference involves oral and poster presentations. In addition, exhibitions highlighting technological innovations tailored towards industrialization are held.

According to the this year’s theme and the conference will also include topics such as:

1. Agricultural science and technologies for sustainable food and nutritional security
2. Basic and applied sciences for the advancement of research and industrialisation
3. Engineering technologies, Built Environment and infrastructure for industrialisation
