A Hybrid High-Level Public Panel Discussion on the Future of the Malabo Declaration Beyond 2025

FARA Africa Community is inviting you to the public discussion convened as part of the PARI project Annual Research and Partnership meeting.
The discussion offers the opportunity to gather civil society’s opinion on topical issues in African agriculture. This year’s discussion will address the Malabo Declaration on the Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Program (CAADP); the Malabo Declaration will end in 2025. It is time to review the progress on the key indicator of the declaration and draw lessons to inform the next steps. While the Africa Union Commission has commenced developing the post-Malabo action, the question is what should be the content of the new effort and what specific issues we must tackle to ensure a sustainable and resilient African agricultural sector.
